CereVoice powers the world's first automated personal DJ
Edinburgh, 13th October 2006
CereProc, the Edinburgh-based speech synthesis company, is providing the text to speech technology to drive the world's first automated personal DJ.
DJ4ME uses artificial intelligence techniques to generate text from a database of song information. The text is read aloud by the CereVoice engine, creating a synthetic DJ who can describe and link together the music being played.

DJ4ME is an Edinburgh-Stanford Link project. The Link is a partner of CereProc.
