It’s National Apprenticeship Week 2018 #NAW2018 and here at CereProc we think it’s a great opportunity to celebrate our Sales and Marketing Apprentice – Angus Rose. Angus joined us straight from school after leaving Peebles High School in 5th year. After already securing very good Higher grades, Angus decided to gain some industry experience, making an apprenticeship a perfect option. Since joining the CereProc team Angus has learned not only about the text-to-speech industry, but a range of business processes and skills including sales and marketing tools, communication techniques, research strategies, relationship management and many others. Angus himself says “this apprenticeship has been such a great experience so far, there is nothing more useful than getting experience in a real business”. Angus was also faced with the challenge of staff changeover, when our previous Sales and Marketing Team Leader left the business there was a few months before our new Team Leader started. During this time Angus stepped up and took over the majority, if not all, of the sales and marketing tasks which more than exceeded the businesses expectations. Graham, Angus’ line manager and Head of Professional Services says “During his apprenticeship at CereProc, Angus has made an excellent contribution and proved to be a valuable member of the Sales team. “

Thanks for all your hard work Angus! We think this is a great example of apprenticeships working for both employer and apprentice.
