We are delighted to announce that at the third annual META-FORUM 2013 in Berlin, Germany last week, CereProc was awarded the META Seal of Recognition for its text-to-speech voices. This prestigious award recognises software products and services that actively contribute to the European Multilingual Information Society, with previous winners include Phonexia, PerVoice, and Voxsigma.
The META Technology Council is comprised of 32 industry leaders and top academics from around the world, and this year they agreed that CereProc's work in the text to speech industry is commendable "for their scalable and natural text to speech voices that are both characterful and easy to integrate and apply, supporting languages as diverse as English, Spanish, Catalan, German, French, Dutch, Italian, Romanian, Mandarin and Japanese, with a variety of accents for some languages such as, for example, Scottish."
Commenting on the award, CereProc’s Chief Technical Officer Chris Pidcock said, “It is great to get an award from such a prestigious European organisation; it recognises CereProc's aim to provide innovative multi lingual technology at cost effective prices. 2013 has been a great year for CereProc and we have won some significant business orders that will be delivered in 2014”.
