2014 is the year of the referendum on Scottish independence, and everyone is talking about the Scottish economy – in particular, how it might fare if Scots vote to make the break. The majority of discussions come back to energy; Scotland has no doubt got more than its fair share of natural resources and renewables. But what of its man-made resources? Scotland's software and electronic publishing sector makes an enormous contribution to the economy, employing over 19,000 people and contributing just under £1bn, earning the affectionate nickname “Silicon Glen”.

29/11/2013 - CereProc Introduces New English and American Voices: Giles, Lauren, Nathan and Hannah

November has seen the introduction of a whopping four new voices into the CereProc store. With the release of a male and female voice each for English and American English, CereProc has expanded its in-store range to 24 voices in 8 languages - with the promise of even more to come in 2014. The new additions have already proved popular with customers, and we're grateful for all the lovely feedback we've had so far.

Giles, Lauren, Nathan and Hannah are now available from the CereProc webstore for both Windows and Mac OS X.

Over the past 10 days, Digital Shoreditch Festival 2013 has brought together top individuals and companies from the digital community in the UK, inviting them to come to East London - the firmly established tech hub - to share ideas, discuss challenges and celebrate some of the most exciting projects being created at the moment.
